Velvet Mallet is an association of well-known jazz musicians in Latvia created especially for the opening concert of Saulkrasti Jazz 2014, which consists of virtuoso jazz pianist Viktors Ritovs, double bassist Andris Grunte, drummer Kaspars Grigalis, and Atis Vintuks on marimba and vibrophone.
