Cita Dimensija is a music group formed in 2023. It was formed as an association of four energetic young people — students of the jazz departments of Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School and Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. We currently exist as a quintet. We consist of percussion instruments, bass guitar, electric guitar, saxophone and keyboards. We perform “Jazz Fusion”, “Jazz Rock” and “Funk Fusion” music, as well as other genres, as well as compositions by other well-known musicians and their arrangements. Our listeners can expect an energetic, exciting, musically intense and synergistic performance, where the unpredictable can happen on stage.
