3Stick is a new, exciting trio from Riga. All members of the group play and work as professional musicians, as well as study at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where the young artists also started playing together for the first time. From the very beginning of the group, the artists did not follow the path of the traditional jazz trio, but began to explore what new music has to offer and how to surprise their listeners. Mostly we can hear the compositions of the artists themselves, but from time to time we can hear the well-known jazz standards and some features of Latvian folk music.

The group consists of Dāvis Jurka (saxophone), Toms Poišs (double bass) and Rūdolfs Dankfelds (drums).
